Toyota features a wide line of compact cars, sedans and SUVs, most of which offer stock CD players with top technologies from the manufacturers. While these players offer a number of capabilities, they are prone getting CDs stuck within the disc slot. If your CDs get stuck, you can remove them without ruining your disc or your CD player in just minutes and have your player ready to use right away.

Step 1

Turn your car on and press and hold the eject button on your car's CD player. This will allow you to try to force the disc out of the player. Hold the button for up to a couple minutes to see if the ejecting process can pick up the disc.

Step 2

Press and hold the power button at the same time as the eject button. This will power the player on and off and will hopefully activate the ejection system.

Step 3

Press and hold the reset button on the front of the CD player. This button is often a small black indentation that must be pressed with a pen or a pin, and will reset the settings and force eject the disc.

Step 4

Press and hold the eject button as you force an extra disc into the CD player slot, underneath the stuck CD. This will force the stuck disc up into the ejecting track as the player is trying to push it out.
