How Do I Remove a Jammed CD From a Bose Factory Installed CD Player?
by Matthew FortunaThough aftermarket CD players are popular with many car owners because they offer increased technology and specialized features, some factory players also fit the bill for a number of reasons. Bose factory-installed players are popular because of their easy interface and advanced sound, but discs can sometimes get stuck inside the player. There are some steps you can take to dislodge your CD from the Bose player without ruining either.
Step 1
Press and hold the "Power" button on your Bose for up to three minutes to allow the system to force the disc out of the player.
Step 2
Press and hold the "Power" button as you cycle the key in the ignition from the "Off" to the "On" position a few times, attempting to power the system up and down to eject the disc.
Step 3
Insert a disc into your player beneath the stuck CD and attempt to push the disc up into the ejecting track. Insert and push with the extra disc and hold the "Eject" button.
