How to Disable the Alarm on a 2000 Ford Expedition
by Daniel ValladaresThe alarm system on your 2000 Ford Expedition can be of great help in protecting your vehicle from theft or unwanted entry. Unfortunately, it can also be quite a hassle when the alarm goes off and you cannot figure out how to turn it off. Thankfully, you can turn the alarm off in two ways: pressing the alarm button on the remote receiver of the Expedition, or removing the alarm fuse from the fuse block.
Step 1
Press the "Panic" button on the remote receiver to turn off the alarm system on your Expedition. If you wish to disable the alarm system, you will need to remove the alarm fuse.
Step 2
Open the Expedition's hood and lift off the cover of the fuse block.
Step 3
Remove the fuse from slot 30, using a fuse puller -- this is the alarm fuse.
Step 4
Place the cover back onto the fuse block and close the hood.
