How to Disable an Altima Alarm

However, if you disable the alarm, you may leave your vehicle vulnerable to theft or intrusion. If you have issues with your alarm, you may disable the alarm until you can get your vehicle to a certified Nissan repair shop.
Step 1
Press and hold the "Lock" button and the "Unlock" buttons on the remote at the same time for two seconds.
Step 2
Watch for the hazard lights to blink three times, which confirms the alarm disabled.
Step 3
Release the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons on the remote.
