How to Set the Clock on a Yamaha Apex

by Leonardo R. Grabkowski

The Yamaha Apex is a snowmobile designed for recreational use. The Apex has a digital clock in between the RPM gauge and the digital speedometer. If the time shown on the Apex's clock is wrong, you can set the time with the push of a few buttons. Expect to change the time at least twice a year and if you replace the Apex's battery, which will cause the system to reset.

Note the engine RPM gauge next to the Apex's speedometer. In the upper left-hand corner, you'll find the "Select" and "Reset" knobs.

Depress then hold the "Select" and "Reset" knobs at the same time. After a few seconds, the clock display will start to flash.

Press the "Reset" knob to adjust the hour. Press the "Select" knob when you are finished. The clock will now move on to the minute digits.

Press the "Reset" knob to adjust the minutes. Press "Select" when you are finished.
