How to Change the Time Clock in an Astro Van
by Leonardo R. GrabkowskiThe Chevrolet Astro van came equipped with one of two radios, and the process of changing the time is different, depending on which radio is installed. You can identify which radio you have by closely examining the unit. If you see a "Set" button, use Section 1 to change the time. If you see an "HR" button, use Section 2. Neither radio clock updates for daylight savings time, so you'll need to change the time twice a year. You'll also need to change the time if the battery is disconnected; when this happens, the clock resets to "12:00."
