Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Kroger Company is one of the largest grocery retailers in the nation. The Kroger Company offers customers the opportunity to use the Kroger Plus Card and the 1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard to earn fuel rewards points for fuel discounts. Earn a 10-cent discount per gallon of fuel for spending in multiples of $100 with the Kroger Plus Card. Use the 1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard and earn an additional five-cent per gallon fuel discount.

Kroger Plus Card

Step 1

Visit a local Kroger grocery store and request a free Kroger Plus Card.

Step 2

Select your grocery items, including items offering discounts for using the Kroger Plus Card. Select gift cards are eligible for rewards points.

Step 3

Return to the check-out stand to pay for your groceries. Present your Kroger Plus Card to the cashier to receive discounts and obtain fuel rewards points.

Step 4

Redeem your fuel points by going to a participating Kroger or Shell gas station. Present your Kroger Plus Card and receive your discount for each gallon of gas you purchase.

1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard

Step 1

Apply for the 1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard in a local store or online at krogerpersonalfinance.com. If approved, obtain your MasterCard and visit a Kroger grocery store to make eligible grocery and gift card purchases.

Step 2

Use your 1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard to pay for your items and obtain fuel rewards points.

Step 3

Visit a participating Shell or Kroger gas station. Scan your Kroger Plus Card or present it to the cashier to receive the initial 10-cents per gallon discount. Use your 1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard to pay for your fuel at the pump or the cashier and receive an additional five-cent fuel discount.
