Programming or setting the clock in a BMW 325i is much different than in most other vehicles. You may have noticed that the clock is not displayed on or near the radio as it is in many American vehicles; instead, it's displayed in your instrument cluster, next to the odometer. Because the radio and the clock are not connected, the radio is not used to program the clock.

Step 1

Push your turn signal stalk up slightly (not enough to turn on the signal) to toggle through the instrument cluster menu, until the "Clock" symbol and the word "Set" displays.

Step 2

Press the button on the edge of your turn signal stalk to enter "Set" mode.

Step 3

Push the turn signal up or down lightly to set the hour. When the hour is correct, press the button on the edge of your turn signal stalk. This saves the setting and moves you to the minute display.

Step 4

Push the turn signal stalk up or down to adjust the minute display. When the correct minute is displayed, press the button on the edge of your turn signal stalk to show the adjusted time.

Step 5

Press the button on the edge of your turn signal stalk to save the clock setting.
