How to Reset a Remote Starter

This technology is used to engage your car's ignition and start the vehicle from inside of your house or as far as a couple hundred feet away in the street or in the parking lot. You can set or reset the remotes to your engine in just a few minutes from your driver's seat.
Step 1
Enter your car with your starter and ignition key and leave the driver's door open.
Step 2
Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
Step 3
Press and hold the "Valet" button on your remote and wait for the horn to chirp.
Step 4
Press and hold the "Valet" button again and press and release the starter button on your remote.
Step 5
Wait for the horn to chirp again and release the "Valet" button to end the programming sequence.
