Python's remote start system allows users to operate their power locks and start their vehicle with the simple push of a button. Sometimes, after the battery in the car or remote start fob has been changed, the fob won't work until it has been reset.

Step 1

Sit in the driver's seat and close all of the doors. Insert your key into the ignition. Press the "Lock" button on the driver's side door. Turn the key to the "On" ignition position.

Step 2

Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the fob for one to two seconds, and release it.

Step 3

Hold down the "F" button until the fob's indicator light glows red, and release it.

Step 4

Press and hold the "Unlock" button for approximately two seconds, or until the indicator light begins to flash, then release it.

Step 5

Hold down the fob's "Lock" button until the indicator light flashes again, indicating that the fob has been reset successfully.
