How to Program a Car Remote Starter

Step 1
Put your key into your car's ignition and turn it to the "On" position, one click before the "Start" position.
Step 2
Press and release the small black button on your car remote, known as the valet switch. Press the button a second time and hold it.
Step 3
Press the "lock" button on your remote while holding the valet switch.
Step 4
Release both buttons and turn the key back to the "Off" position.
Step 5
Press a button on your remote to test if the programming was successful.
