How to Set the Radio Clock on My S-10 Chevy

by Megan Mattingly-Arthur

Manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors, the Chevy S-10 is a compact pickup truck that was produced in the United States from 1982 to 2004. Chevy S-series vehicles such as the S-10 feature a handy digital clock located on the vehicle's audio systems panel. Because the clock-setting buttons on the audio systems panel are clearly marked, setting the time in your Chevy S-10 is quick and painless.

Step 1

Examine the audio systems panel in your Chevy S-10 truck to find the "HR" and "MN" buttons.

Step 2

Press and hold the "HR" or "MN" button for two or three seconds to access the time-setting mode.

Step 3

Hold down the "HR" button on the audio systems panel until the hours place digits show the correct time.

Press and hold the "MN" button to adjust the clock's minutes to reflect the current time.

  • To see the current time when the ignition is off, simply press the "HR," "MN" or "Recall" button on the audio systems panel.

  • These clock-setting instructions may not apply to all Chevy S-10 models. If necessary, contact your local Chevrolet dealership or service center for model-specific setting advice.
