How to Set the Clock on a 2007 Jeep Liberty

by Megan Mattingly-Arthur

Jeep is the division of the Chrysler Group that focuses on off-road, sports utility vehicles. The Jeep Liberty is a compact SUV that has been in production since the 2002 model year. A first-generation Liberty, the 2007 model features a user-friendly digital clock located on the audio systems panel. The entire clock-setting process for your Jeep Liberty can be completed in under 60 seconds, and you won't need any tools.

Locate the clock-setting buttons on the left side of the audio systems panel in your Jeep Liberty. Note that the buttons are labeled "H" for hours and "M" for minutes.

Hold down the "H" button to set the clock's hours digits to the appropriate time. Release the "H" button when the correct hour is displayed.

Press and hold the "M" button to set the minutes on your Liberty's clock. Let go of the button when the desired minutes are shown.

Wait for the changes to be saved automatically after five seconds of inactivity.

Tip

  • Press the "H" or "M" buttons repeatedly to increase the number values one at a time.

Warning

  • If more than five seconds elapse between completing each step, the clock-setting session will time out and you will have to start over from Step 1.
