by Edmund LukavicsIf you need to repair or troubleshoot your seat belt, removing the plastic cover off of the strap is a step in the process. Prying off the plastic cover gives you access to the strap, and furthers along the process of complete disasemblence. Prying off the plastic cover requires a small amount of physical force.
Step 1
Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the area under the snaps where both sides of the plastic cover meet.
Step 2
Push down on the handle of the screwdriver while also applying pressure into the plastic cover to pry the cover upwards. Continue to apply pressure in this way until the plastic snap pops out of place.
Step 3
Repeat on all plastic cover snaps. Once all snaps have been popped out of place, you can remove the seat belt cover.
Things You'll Need
