How to Program a Key Fob for a Ford F150
by Matthew FortunaThe Ford F150 is among the top-selling trucks from Ford, and offers a variety of the manufacturer's top technologies. One such technology, the ability to control your truck's features remotely, can be programmed at home with no professional experience or equipment. These remotes, known as key fobs, give you the chance to access your locks and panic alarm from as far as 200 feet away.
Step 1
Enter the car and cycle your key in the ignition from "Off" to "Run" eight times in 10 seconds, and end with the key in the "Run" position after the eighth rotation.
Step 2
Press any button on your keyless remote to program it to the sequence within 20 seconds and wait for the doors to lock.
Step 3
Repeat Step 3 with any additional remotes, always within 20 seconds of the last.
Step 4
Turn the ignition to the "Off" position after the last remote to end the procedure.
