How to Program Chevrolet Uplander Keyless Remotes
by Tara KimballThe Chevrolet Uplander keyless entry system relies on remote transmitters for access to your vehicle and control of the lock system. You can add up to four keyless entry remotes to the Uplander's power lock system. Save the expense of visiting a dealer by programming the new remotes at home. Buy a replacement remote from an auto parts retailer or Chevrolet dealer.
Step 1
Sit in the driver's seat of the Uplander. Close the driver's door. Press the "Unlock" button on the door and hold it.
Step 2
Toggle the key to "ON" and then "OFF" twice. Release the "Unlock" button.
Step 3
Press and hold "Lock" and "Unlock" on the new remote. Release the buttons once the door locks cycle.
Step 4
Turn the key to "ON" and then back to "OFF" to exit programming mode.
