How to Set the Time in Vehicles

How to Set the Time in a Dodge Avenger
Setting Your Avenger's Clock
Press and hold the TIME button until the hours start to blink on the clock display screen. Rotate the right-side TUNE/SCROLL control knob to select the correct hour. Next, press down on the knob to select minutes. The minutes display will begin to blink. Rotate the knob to select the correct minutes setting. Press down once again on the knob to save the time change. Press any button -- or just wait five seconds -- to exit the time display.
How to Set the Time on a Mack Truck Radio
Press the "Menu" button, located in the lower-right corner of the audio systems panel in your truck.
Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons until the "Clock" message shows on the digital display screen. Press the "OK" button to access the "Clock" sub-menu.
Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons until the "Set Time" option is shown. Press the "OK" button to access the "Set Time" sub-menu.
Adjust the hours' digits to the correct time. Press the "Up" arrow button to increase the number value; press the "Down" arrow button to decrease it. Press the "OK" button to save your changes to the hours' digits. Shift the flashing to the minutes' digits.
Set the minutes' digits to the desired time. Press the "Up" arrow button to increase the digits; press the "Down" arrow button to decrease them.
Press the "OK" button to save your changes and exit the setting process.
How do I Set the Time on a Chevy HHR Stereo?
Base Radio
Turn your HHR's ignition to "Accessory" or start the engine. On the audio unit, press the power button to turn it on. Find the clock button -- the button with the clock face icon -- on the left side of the radio below the "RDM" button. Press the clock button until the hours digits start to flash.
Turn the tuning knob -- the knob in the upper right corner with the musical note icon -- clockwise or counterclockwise until the desired hour appears in the display. Press the clock button again and the minutes digits will flash. Turn the tuning knob clockwise or counterclockwise until the desired minutes appear in the display. Press the clock button until the clock display stops flashing or wait five seconds for the setting mode to time out.
To change between a 12-hour and 24-hour clock, press the clock button until "12H" or "24H" appears in the display. Turn the tuning knob to change to the other clock mode. Press the clock button until the display stops flashing or wait five seconds for the setting mode to time out.
CD/MP3 Player
Turn your HHR's ignition to "Accessory" or start the engine. On the audio unit, press the power button to turn it on. Find the clock button -- the button with the clock face icon -- on the left side of the radio below the "FAV" button.
Press the clock button until the hour, minute, month, day and year appear in the display. Press the softkey below the unit you want to change, then press the seek-forward button -- the right "Seek" button -- or "FWD" to increase the value. Press the seek-reverse -- the left "Seek" button -- or "REV" to decrease the value. Press the clock button to apply the change or wait 5 seconds for the setting mode to time out.
To change between a 12-hour and 24-hour clock, press the clock button and then press the softkey below the forward-arrow label. Press the softkey below "12H" or "24H" then press the clock button to apply the change or wait 5 seconds for the setting mode to time out.
