How to Manually Close the Sunroof in Vehicles

Standard features include Vehicles sway control, easy fuel capless fuel filler and power-adjustable pedals. The power sunroof is only available on the higher-end models such as the SVT Raptor and Harley-Davidson.

How to Manually Close the Sunroof in a C-Class
Remove the lens on the overhead light by prying it off with a screwdriver.
Slide the locking tabs towards the windshield and pull down on the housing to remove the inside of the roof light assembly. Leave the wiring connected.
Insert the S shaped Allen wrench supplied with the vehicle into the left side motor hole.
Turn the crank clockwise to close the sunroof.

How to Manually Close the Sunroof on a Toyota Solara
Remove the Solar's headliner by first removing the sun visors using a Phillips screwdriver. Place the screws in a safe place where you can find them later.
Remove the plastic trim pieces and handles that line the interior using your hands or by prying them gently with a flathead screwdriver until the sunroof motor is exposed.
Unplug any electrical wiring.
Find the connector for the sunroof's motor.
Insert your allen wrench.
Turn your allen wrench clockwise until the sunroof is closed and secure.

How to Manually Close the Sunroof in a Ford F-150
Removing the Headliner
Remove the dome light cover by inserting a flathead screwdriver under the edge and prying it away from the light. Set it aside.
Remove the screws that hold the base of the dome light with a Phillips screwdriver.
Pull the dome light fixture down. Unplug any electrical connections.
Remove the grab handles using a ratchet and socket.
Unscrew the plastic runners that hold the headliner in place.
Loosen the headliner by gently pulling down on the edges until the sunroof motor is exposed.
Closing the Sunroof
Locate the connector for the sunroof motor.
Insert the Allen wrench.
Turn the Allen wrench clockwise until the sunroof is completely closed.
