How to Turn on the Fog Lights in a Dodge Durango

by Marc Lucas

Many vehicles on the road have factory-installed fog lights. Fog lights are used in inclement weather to help the driver see the road immediately in front of the vehicle and to see the edge of the road. Fog lights on the Dodge Durango have been an option since the first production model in 1998. If you have a Durango with factory-installed fog lights, turning them on is a simple process.

1998-2003 Dodge Durango

Locate the headlight switch on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

Turn the headlight switch clockwise one position to turn on the parking lights or two positions to turn on the headlights.

Pull the headlight switch knob out to turn on the fog lights.

2004-2010 Dodge Durango

Locate the headlight switch on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

Turn the headlight switch clockwise one position to turn on the parking lights or two positions to turn on the headlights.

Push the headlight switch knob in to turn on the fog lights.

Tip

  • Fog lights on the Dodge Durango only operate with the parking lights turned on or when the headlights are on low-beam.
