How to Reset a Viper Car Alarm
by Necie ReedProtecting your vehicle and the possessions inside of it from theft is very important. The Viper alarm system has several features, including the ability to passively or actively arm your vehicle. The system also offers the High Security Disarm feature, which allows your triggered alarm to be silenced without being disarmed. If you want to reset your Viper alarm, you can do so with your car's fob key.
Step 1
Point the fob key toward your vehicle as the alarm sounds.
Step 2
Listen and wait for your alarm to sound for six seconds.
Step 3
Press the lock button on your key. Your vehicle's Viper alarm will reset but the alarm will still be armed.
