How to Replace a Power Mirror in a Chrysler Town & Country

Remove Old Mirror
Step 1
Open the side door to the Chrysler Town & Country, and find the screw that holds the side mirror molding in place.
Step 2
Take the screw out and remove the molding panel that attached around the outside of the power mirror.
Step 3
Remove the bolts connecting the mirror to the door assembly. If equipped, unplug the power side view mirror wiring harness connector.
Step 4
Unplug the electric connectors, and pull the mirror out of the molding.
Install New Mirror
Step 1
Connect the electrical power mirror to the power source before putting the mirror back on the side door.
Step 2
Put the new side view mirror into position on the Chrysler Town & Country. Attach the top and bottom mounting bolts. Secure them tightly into place.
Step 3
Install the molding around the mirror, and tighten the screw that holds it in place.
Tips
- Removing a cold or frozen mirror can cause it to crack and cause injuries. Make sure the mirror is warm before starting any repair.
