The Caravan is a minivan designed and manufactured by the Chrysler Group sold under the Dodge name brand. The Caravan is equipped with adjustable headrests on the front seats and second row of seats. These headrests can also be removed if needed. The headrests in the third row of seats cannot be removed. Headrests can reduce the risk of injury from whiplash in the event of an accident. The headrests are adjustable up or down to suit the driver and passengers.

Step 1

Place the Dodge Caravan in "Park." Locate the headrest you'd like to remove.

Step 2

Lift the headrest with your hand to the highest position. The headrest will stop once the lock engages at the highest point.

Step 3

Depress the locking button, located on the bottom of the headrest, where the headrest supports meet the top of the seat. While continuing to hold the locking button, pull the headrest out of the seat body. The headrest is now removed.
