How to Remove the Back Seat in a 2003 Cadillac
by KateboYou can remove the back seat on your '03 Cadillac right in your garage. You only need one tool that you can purchase at any hardware store. Allow about a half hour to get the job done. The hardest part about removing the back seat is pulling it out of the car. There are several reasons for wanting to remove the back seat, but the usual reason is to have it reupholstered.
Step 1
Open both rear doors. Push the front seats forward to give you room to work.
Step 2
Lift up on the bottom cushions on the back seat while simultaneously pushing it toward the back of the Cadillac. This will unlock the seat. Remove it from the vehicle.
Step 3
Remove the two bolts at the bottom of the seat back using a socket wrench.
Step 4
Pull up on the seat back and slide it out of the vehicle.
