How to Program a Dodge Ram Key Fob
by Matthew FortunaKey fobs are remotes used to control your car's door locks, trunk and panic alarm. These remotes can be programmed to your Dodge Ram in just a few minutes and require no previous experience or professional equipment, as long as you have one previously programmed remote. The process will allow you to program up to four remotes and you can use the remote right away.
Step 1
Enter your car, and turn the ignition to the "Run" position. Wait for the car's chimes to automatically stop, then press and hold the "Unlock" button on your previously programmed remote.
Step 2
Hold the "Unlock" button for 10 seconds, then press and release the "Panic" button as you release the "Unlock" button.
Step 3
Wait for another chime, then press any button on any other remote you would like to program to sync them to the system. Turn off the ignition when done to end the programming sequence.
