Kenworth is a manufacturer of heavy-duty and medium tractor trailer trucks and transit and school buses. Like any other motor vehicle, the vehicle identification number on a Kenworth gives you access to its history, model, year, ownership background and other information that will help you determine its value. The location of the VIN number on a Kenworth depends on the model. There are two areas where you can find it.
Step 1
Open the Kenworth's driver's side door.
Step 2
Look for the label attached along the edge of the door or door frame.
Step 3
Locate the 17-character number that consists of numerals and letters. That is the VIN. If it's not located on the door, the VIN will be displayed on the dashboard. To find it on the dashboard, look through the windshield on the driver's side.
