How to Reset the Security System on a Infiniti J30
by David ClairMany models of the Infiniti J30 are equipped with a security system that provides visual and audio alarm signals if sensors on various parts of the vehicle are disturbed. If the security system has been activated, it must be properly reset in order to turn off the alarms. Resetting the security system allows the sensors to reinitialize so they can be armed again the next time the car is turned off and locked.
Step 1
Insert the key into the ignition switch.
Step 2
Turn the ignition switch to "OFF." Remove the key from the ignition.
Step 3
Insert the key into a door or the trunk.
Step 4
Turn the key counterclockwise. The security system resets as the door or trunk is unlocked with the key.
