Stand no farther than about 30 feet away from the Ford F-250, holding the key fob in your hands.
Press the "Unlock" button (the one with an icon of an open padlock) on your key fob. The driver's door will automatically unlock and the interior lights will illuminate.
Press "Unlock" once more within three seconds to unlock all the doors of the truck.
Find your personal entry code. This five-digit code was set by the factory. Your dealer should have provided this code; you can also find it on your F-250 owner's wallet card.
Enter the code into the Securicode keypad on the door of your truck. Press each number one at a time, within five seconds of the next. The driver's door will unlock automatically, and the interior lights of the truck will illuminate.
Press the "3-4" button on the keypad within five seconds to unlock all doors of the truck.
Insert the hammer in the top-right part of the door frame with the clawed end going as far down in-between the door frame and the door as possible. Do some gentle prying to get it down more. Do not worry about breaking the window, as it will take a lot of force to cause any cracks.
Insert something into the gap you've just created between the door and the top of the door frame. Anything will do, even a rolled up newspaper, as long as it is wide enough to keep the gap open for you to work with.
Repeat steps one and two for the top left part of the door frame and door. This will effectively allow you to construct an artificial brace keeping the door pried open between the door and the door frame of your 1991 Nissan pickup.
Use a coat hanger or any other long, slender, and stiff material to slide down the gap that you have created between the door and the door frame for your 1991 Nissan pickup. A wooden dowel or a rod will work fine as well--anything that is long enough to reach down to the door handle to open the door. Use the coat hanger or whatever type of rod that you are working with to slide down behind the door handle and open the door, just as you would if you were inside the pickup itself.
Items you will need
Anything 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter
Stiff rod (any material will do)
Unwrap the wire on the top of the wire hanger.
Flatten out the wire hanger completely with the pliers.
Bend a square hook on one end of the wire. The hook should be 1 inch wide and have a 2 to 3-inch hook arm.
Pull out on the top of the Jeep Cherokee door (have a friend do this). Feed the hook behind the rubber door gasket.
Push down on the wire until it is viewable through the door window. Bend the wire toward you and feed the wire down farther toward the Jeep Cherokee door handle. Have a friend help direct you by having them watch through the door window on the other side. Hook the door handle and pull the wire up to open the Jeep Cherokee door.
