How to Find a Ford Recall

Ford is an American car manufacturer that has been making vehicle since the early 1900s. The company continues to manufacturer and sell cars and trucks under several brands, including Lincoln and Mercury. Ford provides all past and present recall information through their website for consumer verification and information. In order to find the recall information on a specific vehicle you must submit the vehicle identification number (VIN) from that vehicle. The VIN number can be found on the car or truck's dashboard near the driver side windshield.

Highlight "Owner Services" on the Ford home page (see Resources).

Click "Owner Support."

Select "Recall Information" from the list on the left side of the screen.

Select the vehicle brand and enter the VIN to view recall information.
