How to Thaw a Frozen Car Wheel

by Edmund Lukavics

One of the risks involved with living in a cold climate is the possibility that items left outside will freeze, and car wheels are no exception. Wheels that are frozen can be very difficult to move, making travel in the affected car next to impossible. Knowing how to defrost a frozen car tire can make the difference between getting on your way, and staying stuck at home.

Step 1

Fill a bucket with warm, not hot, water.

Step 2

Dump the bucket of warm water on the frozen car wheel.

Step 3

Repeat this process until the car wheel is thawed out.
