Removing the Door Panel From a Jeep Commander
by Nichole LiandiGather the necessary tools
To remove the door panel from a Jeep Commander, you'll need some simple tools. Gather together a Phillips screwdriver and a panel tool, and you'll be ready to begin.
Undo the screws
Open the door so you have full access to it. Remove the Phillips screw located in a recess in the upper front of the door panel. Then take out the rubber mat in the bottom of the door pull cup. Remove the Phillips screw located there. Finally, take out the Phillips screw located behind the door release latch.
Remove the door panel
Pry around the bottom and the edges of the door panel to release the clips holding it in place. Lift the panel up, disconnect any electrical plugs, and lift the door panel away from the door proper.
