How to Remove the Starter on a Sebring Coupe

Step 1
Pull the Sebring Coupe into a easily accessible location. Then, pull the vehicle onto blocks, or jack it up.
Step 2
Locate the starter at the front of the Sebring Coupe. It will look like a wide cylinder with electrical leads coming off it.
Step 3
Remove the screw connecting the electrical leads using a standard phillips screwdriver. Then, pull the leads away from the starter.
Step 4
Remove the bolts securing the starter using a socket wrench. Then, pry the starter assembly apart with a flathead screwdriver, and pull the starter away from the mounting post.

- If the bottom of the Sebring Coupe is very dirty, wear goggles or safety glasses to help keep debris out of your eyes.
