Interior spray paint stains can't be power washed off and you don't want to use too powerful of a cleaner because the smell may be intolerable. Here are a few easy ways to remove spray paint from the interior of your vehicle.
Removing Spray Paint From Your Car's Interior
Put on your protective eye wear and rubber gloves.
Mix a bowl of warm water with dish soap. Use a microfiber towel to scrub the spray paint stain in a circular motion. Dry the area with a towel.
If soapy water doesn't remove the car paint stain, try scrubbing acrylic nail polish remover or acetone nail polish remover on the affected area with a Q-tip and cotton balls. Wipe it clean with a water damp towel. Dry the area with a towel.
If nail polish remover doesn't remove the stain, try scrubbing rubbing alcohol on the spray paint with a Q-tip and cotton balls. Wipe the rubbing compound clean with a water damp towel. Dry the area with a towel.
If rubbing alcohol doesn't remove the stain, try scrubbing eucalyptus oil on the spray paint with a Q-tip and cotton balls. You can find this on amazon. Wipe it clean with a water damp towel. Dry the area with a towel.
If a clear coat of eucalyptus oil doesn't remove the paint job stain, try scrubbing oven cleaner on the spray paint with a Q-tip and cotton balls. Clean up with a water damp towel. Dry the area with a towel and pull away any dried paint.
If oven cleaner doesn't remove the stain, try scrubbing paint thinner on the spray paint with a Q-tip and cotton balls. This is the strongest solvent so be careful with the car surface and car’s paint job. Wipe it clean with a water damp towel. Dry the area with a towel.
