The Location of the Coolant Temp Sensor on the 1995 Honda Accord
by Justin CuplerThe 1995 Accord had three engines to choose from, and they included a 2.2-liter four-cylinder with 130 horsepower, a 2.2-liter VTEC with 145 horsepower and a 2.7-liter V-6 with 170 horsepower. The coolant temperature sensor in all three engines distributed the coolant temperature to other electronic controls and the temperature gauge. Honda tucked the sensor out of site, so finding it can be a little tough.
Coolant Temperature Sensor
On both 2.2-liter engines, the coolant temperature sensor is on the passenger side of the engine, near the top, right next to the distributor. On the 2.7-liter, V-6 engine, the coolant temperature sensor is on the lower, driver side of the engine, below the intake manifold.
