Geo Tracker Soft Top Instructions
by Dustin ThorntonThe Geo or Chevrolet Tracker is a miniature sport utility vehicle. Some Geo Trackers include the option for a removable rear canvas top. Removing the canvas top of your Geo Tracker is a time consuming process if you are unfamiliar with the various fasteners securing it in place, but with practice you can learn how to quickly remove the soft top. Before you remove the soft top, you must remove the rear window.
Remove Rear Window
Step 1
Unfasten the soft top rear window from the side panels on each side. There is a Velcro fastener at the bottom of the section where the rear window meets the canvas top with a zipper beneath. Simply pull the Velcro latch to unfasten.
Step 2
Grasp the bottom left edge of the rear window and pull downward at the spot marked "PULL" on the tailgate. Repeat on the bottom right and bottom center edges.
Step 3
Unzip the rear window from the canvas top and remove it from the vehicle.
