How do I Reset the Tire Warning Light on a 2002 Toyota Sienna CE?
by Blaze JohnsonThe 2002 Toyota Sienna CE is a five-door minivan with passenger seating for up to seven occupants. The 2002 model features a 3.0-liter DOHC V-6 engine that produces up to 210 hp and 220 foot lbs. of torque. The 2002 Toyota Sienna CE also features a low tire pressure warning system designed to inform you when the vehicle senses a flat tire or low tire pressure. After changing a tire or when filling the tires with air, you may find it necessary to reset the tire pressure warning system to avoid false readings.
Step 1
Turn the vehicle's ignition key to the “ON” position.
Step 2
Press and hold the tire pressure warning system’s “Reset” button for three seconds. The “Reset” button for your vehicle is located on the lower left side dashboard panel, below the steering wheel.
Step 3
Wait five seconds after the warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system flashes three times, and switch the vehicle's ignition key to the “OFF” position to complete the reset process. The warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system is located on the instrument cluster of your dashboard.
