A Chrysler car alarm is designed to prevent unauthorized use of your vehicle. However, if someone accidentally bumps into your car or attempts to pull open a locked door, the alarm may go off. If your car is not at immediate risk, you can disable the alarm to stop the annoying ringing and flashing.

Step 1

Examine your surroundings to determine why your alarm went off. If there is no one nearby, the alarm probably went off because someone accidentally bumped into the car.

Step 2

Press the button that says "Panic" on your key. If you accidentally press this button, the alarm will sound. Pressing the button again turns off the alarm.

Step 3

Press the "Unlock" button on your key.

Step 4

Insert your key into the door and manually unlock the car.

Step 5

Enter the car and insert your key in the ignition. This should disable the alarm.
