The Specs for a Honda SL350

The Honda SL350 was a classic, vintage, dirt bike built from 1969 until 1973. It had lights, license plate bracket and instrumentation, making it street legal with many off-road features.

Engine

The Honda SL350 had an air-cooled, single overhead cam, vertical twin-cylinder 326 cc engine. It used a battery-and-coil ignition system with an electric and kick-starter. The four-stroke motor's bore and stroke was 2.52 inches by 1.99 inches, with a compression ratio of 9.5:1. It employed twin 32 mm Keihin carburetors and produced 33 horsepower at 9,500 rpm.

Chassis

The SL350 had a five-speed gearbox using a multi-disc wet clutch. The bike's final chain drive measured 5/8 inches by 3/8 inches. It employed front and rear expanding drum brakes. It had an upswept expansion-chamber type exhaust system.

Performance

According to Honda, the SL350's top-end speed was 86.04 miles per hour at 9,460 rpm. It would go from 0 to 60 mph in 8.6 seconds and do a standing quarter-mile in 15.95 seconds at 78.39 mph. The bike got 50.9 miles per gallon.

Dimensions

The SL350 had a 52.8-inch wheelbase with a 8.3-inch ground clearance and a 33.1-inch seat height. Its curb weight was 366 lbs.
