The 2015 Mustang's Shaker Pro Audio with HD Radio system delivered 390 watts of total power. Sound was delivered via 12 speakers, including an eight-inch subwoofer. The trunk-mounted subwoofer was installed in such a way that cargo space was not affected, as is often the case with aftermarket stereos. The Shaker included an AM-FM radio tuner, a single-disc CD-MP3 player and HD radio functionality. HD radio provided clearer, higher-quality AM and FM reception, as well as a selection of exclusive stations.
