How to Replace the Horn on a Honda Odyssey
by Alibaster SmithThe horn on a Honda Odyssey is located in the front of the engine bay near the radiator. While the horn should last a good long time, provided that it isn't used extensively, it may eventually die. There is no official service life for the horn. So, when it eventually fails, you'll need to replace it with a new horn available from either a Honda dealership or your local auto parts store.
Step 1
Open the hood of the Odyssey and squeeze the top of the release tab on the electrical connection running to the horn and pull the electrical plug off the horn.
Step 2
Remove the grounding bolt and the bolts holding the horn to the chassis and remove the horn.
Step 3
Align the mounting holes for the horn and the chassis. Bolt the horn to the chassis.
Step 4
Reconnect the electrical plug running to the horn.
