How to Change a Bulb on a Peugeot 307

The bulbs can go out for a variety of reasons, including everything from just wearing out to a shortened life due to oils from skin coming in contact with it when the bulbs are installed in the car. You can replace the bulbs yourself in just a few minutes, ensuring that your headlights are working when you need them.
How to Change a Bulb on a Peugeot 307
Step 1
Determine which bulb is needing to be replaced and then locate the black circular cover that sets behind the headlight.
Step 2
Disconnect the two pin connectors on the circular cover, pulling them out by hand until the cover is loose.
Step 3
Pull the cover off the back of the headlight and locate the retaining clip that holds the bulb in place.
Step 4
Push the spring loaded clip in and turn counter-clockwise to release it from the socket, then pull the bulb out of the clip.
Step 5
Place the new bulb inside the clip and reinsert the clip into the back of the headlight, turning it clockwise until it snaps into the socket.
Step 6
Reattach the black circular cover to the back of the headlight, snapping the pins back in place.

- Use a clean dry cloth when handling the new bulb to prevent the oils on your hands from touching the glass and reducing the life of the bulb.
