Where Is the Battery in a Chrysler 300?
by TS JordanUpdated October 06, 2017The Chrysler 300 is a luxury style sedan designed for cruising in comfort. However, the engine cannot perform its job without a working battery. Locating the battery in your Chrysler 300 will be necessary if you need to recharge or replace it on your own.
Battery Location
The battery in the Chrysler 300 is located in the front of the car underneath the hood. It is positioned on the right-hand side in the engine compartment as you're facing the car.
Battery Identification
The battery is a rectangular block with two leads on top of it. It will be connected to other parts of the engine via two cables -- one black and one red.
Battery Removal
Unscrew the leads on top of the battery to disconnect it from the vehicle. The battery will be locked into place via a clamp, so you will have to lift it out of the way before you can pull the battery out of the vehicle.
Battery Safety
Handle the battery with gloves, if it appears corroded, to avoid getting acid on your skin.
