Auction houses across the nation sell thousands of automobiles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and other motor vehicles to the highest bidder. Knowing how much vehicles sold for at previous auctions will help you determine how much to bid. You can also get an idea of what your vehicle would sell for.
Step 1
Check the auction house's website. Many auction houses list the selling price of vehicles from previous auctions.
Step 2
Call the auction that handled the sale of the vehicle. Most auction houses will tell you the amount the vehicle sold for.
Step 3
Sign up to receive newsletters. Many auctions will send you a monthly newsletter stating the selling price of vehicles from previous auctions.
