If you love strolling through rows of classic and muscle cars, then Naples, Florida, is the place to go. Several car clubs in the area, including the West Coast Muscle Car Club and Corvettes of Naples, gather together to show off some of the best cars they have. Cars on display include those that have been built from scratch, refurbished and kept in mind condition. Many of these clubs and other local organizations use the cars shows as a way to raise funds for local charities.
Cars on Fifth
Stop by the annual Cars on Fifth event where avid collectors of exotic and classic cars get together to show off their collections. Each year there is approximately 400 cars available for the thousands of enthusiasts to check out. Everything from muscle cars, classics, exotics and Ferraris are on display during this car show. This fund-raising event, sponsored by the Naples Ferrari Club, is to benefit Eden of Florida, a nonprofit organization to help those with autism. The event happens annually in February along Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples.
Corvettes of Naples
The members of the nonprofit organization, Corvettes of Naples, puts on an annual fundraiser car show to benefit the Gabriel House for abandoned and displaced children. The event happens at the beginning of January and has been held in various locations such as Riverview Corporate Center and the Harley Davidson of Fort Myers Beach. More than 100 Corvette owners gather to show off their classic corvettes and to share stories about buying and refurbishing their cars.
Kiwanis Club of Marco Island Car Show
Every year in early February, the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island holds a fund-raising car show filled with fun for the entire family. More than 100 cars are on display at the event, plus there is live music, refreshments and activities. All proceeds are to benefit programs for the children of Marco Island.
West Coast Muscle Car Show
Local car enthusiasts gather with their muscle cars the week of Thanksgiving at the Annunciation Circle in La Piazza, Ava Maria in Naples. Stop by to check out some locally owned cruisers and street rods, including T-buckets. Cars featured include Camaros, Corvettes, GTO Judge, Chevelles and Chevy Bel Air. The event is hosted by the West Coast Muscle Car Club, which also hosts an annual Car, Truck and Bike Show in March.
