How to Make a Window Film Application Solution
by Nick DavisTinting your vehicle's or home's windows is a task that can save you money and time. You don't have to take your vehicle into a shop or pay a window film installer to come out to your home and do the job. Making a window film application solution is not difficult. All you need is the right soap and a spray bottle. Once mixed, the solution is ready to use and easily recycled.
Step 1
Pour one quart bottled water into a pot or sauce pan.
Step 2
Add ¼ teaspoon no-tears baby shampoo to the pot or sauce pan.
Step 3
Agitate the soap mixture with a spoon.
Step 4
Open a spray bottle and put the sprayer to the side.
Step 5
Pour the soap mixture into the spray bottle using a funnel to keep the mixture from spilling.
Step 6
Place the sprayer back on the bottle and make sure it is on tightly.
