2.4-liter I-4 Engine
The 2003 Honda Accord equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine requires 4.5 quarts of motor oil. Synthetic 5W-20 motor oil is sufficient for all temperatures. This engine requires 7.6 quarts of coolant with an automatic transmission, and 7.7 quarts with a manual transmission. It requires 6.9 quarts of transmission fluid with the automatic, or 4.1 pints with the manual transmission.
3.0-liter V-6 Engine
When equipped with a 3.0-liter V-6 engine, the 2003 Honda Accord requires 4.6 quarts of 5W-20 motor oil. The V-6 requires 8.9 quarts of engine coolant. With the automatic transmission, 7.7 quarts of transmission fluid is required, or 4.7 pints with a manual transmission.
Fuel Economy
The 2003 Honda Accord with the four-cylinder engine is rated at 21 to 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway. Equipped with a V-6 engine, the Honda Accord is rate at 18 to 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway.
