How do I Tell the Year of a Yamaha Blaster?

It is designed for taut handling and the front and rear suspension tames are meant to ensure a smooth ride. The year of your Blaster can be determined by locating the VIN number on your vehicle and matching a digit to a chart determining vehicle year.
Step 1
Locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the frame of your Yamaha Blaster. It is stamped on the frame near the left foot peg.
Step 2
Determine the 10th digit or letter of the VIN number.
Step 3
Check the following conversion chart to determine the year of your Yamaha Blaster.
